Hi, I’m Alison Swindells, the founder of “Why Wait Italy.”

I’ve always had a passion for languages and law, which led me to study both extensively—earning a major in Italian and a degree in law. My career has been quite diverse, encompassing practicing law and driving business development for several large multinational corporations.

During my 20s, I spent eight incredible years living in Italy, fully immersing myself in the rich culture and beautiful language. My journey has also taken me to the UK, North America, and Australia, each place offering unique experiences and perspectives.

Upon returning to Italy, I was struck by how difficult and convoluted the relocation process could be. This experience inspired me to create “Why Wait Italy.” My goal is to provide a comprehensive solution to make the transition to life in Italy as smooth and hassle-free as possible. I wanted to build the kind of support system that I wished had been available to me during my own return journey.

I’ve been there, and I’ve created the service I wish existed for me.
