There is no separate Italian consulate in Orlando, Tampa or Jacksonville; the entire state belongs to the Consulate General of Italy in Miami, physically located at 4000 Ponce de Leon Blvd in Coral Gables. Visa, citizenship and passport matters for all Florida residents run through this one post.
Yes. All of Georgia falls under Miami's jurisdiction, along with South Carolina, Alabama and Mississippi. That matters practically: long-stay (type D) visa applications are lodged in person, so Atlanta residents should plan a trip to Coral Gables for the appointment itself. Applying at any other post gets your file refused or redirected — consulates only accept residents of their own district and will ask for proof of your address.
